SET SMART Goals

I recently introduced the topic of “setting goals.” I covered what goals are, why goals are important, and the three types of goals you can set.

Having goals can induce effective behavior change, help maintain persistence and consistency, mobilize an individual’s efforts, and create an environment to develop effective strategies. Most of all, goals help you stay focused on the task at hand. However, these benefits are dependent on the goals being set in a SMART way.
